Christian Testimonies and Book Review in October (2025)

Well, our favorite time of year is here again. A time of slowing down and reflecting on the truths taught by the changing seasons, and a time for nature to remind us of the temporality of life alongside the colorful beauty that speaks to the goodness and nearness of God. At Heart of Flesh, it’s also a time to discover how God has changed lives and cleansed hearts. We have several true stories (and a book review) to present to you this month from writers of different backgrounds and walks of life. As you follow alongside us, we hope their words will speak life into this season, into the things inside of you that are broken, dead, or dying, and remind you that Jesus is the great Healer and Savior who can cause even dry bones to come alive.

The lineup this month:

  • Oct 6th: Testimony: A Simple Call by Lea Gillespie Gant
  • Oct 7th: Testimony of Timothy Horne
  • Oct 16th: Testimony of Raymond Deng
  • Oct 17th: Triptych of an Ordinary Faith by Danielle Page
  • Oct 20th: Faith That Endures: My Journey With Christ by Debra Ayis
