POETRY
As the smoke wanders
As the smoke wanders
at the end
of our time
together I watch
it circle
and spin
move toward the door.
Lead me
in that same way not
a straight predetermined path
a way that the spirit
runs as it will
where whither it will go
I rest in trust
and try to keep up.
