I was supposed to be aborted, grew up feeling unloved, and rejected.
At 7: I was sexually abused by the babysitter’s son and got extremely sick due to it.
At 12: I was forced to stop living with my mom in order to have a better life.
At 16: I was addicted to men, alcohol, and pornography.
At 18: I got engaged, was physically abused, and cheated on. A few months after, I partied too hard and ended up getting raped.
I planned my suicide, but even in that, I could not succeed, and I thank God for that.
At 19: I gave life and my dreams a shot and moved to Hollywood. I met a man who treated me like a princess and financially provided for all my needs. I even ended up having my own TV show on the Spanish network called “Dayana Grace Show,” but through it all, I still felt empty and without a life purpose.
At 21: I fully gave up my life and also my dream life in Hollywood to allow God to be my everything finally. I let go of everything and allowed God to be my everything. I moved to San Diego without anything, and I trusted God to provide for me fully, and He did every step of the way.
At 24: I went through a severe car crash that completely changed my life for the better. I became a more grateful person and excited to be alive. I no longer saw life the same and began to want to live each day with purpose. In this same year, I also moved to South Africa as a Missionary for seven months. I started a ministry called “GIVE HER COURAGE Worldwide.” This ministry helps women who have been physically and sexually molested.
At 25: I got married to the love of my life, who I met at an airport during a layover.
At 26: I started my first blog, Dayanashiplett.com, and started encouraging others on social media through faith stories.
At 27: I landed my dream job as a communications manager at a Christian nonprofit for adults with intellectual disabilities.
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. — Genesis 50:20
